Hi,
 Can anyone tell me why I am unable to change my country from India to Canada in my Samsung Account? I moved to Canada and living here since 5 years and last year I bought S22 Ultra. I bought Samsung phone so I can take advantage of trade ins and other offers when I want to upgrade my phone. But strangely I am getting offers for India not for Canada because my country is still India in my Samsung account. I bought my S22 Ultra in Canada and wanted to get offers in Canada.

Why Samsung is restricting us to change the country? This is just rediculous. It should be a simple update option.

I have a similar issue. My country in the phone is wrong and it is locked. Some apps that I need to use in the country I live are not available because of it. I also can't launch online promo campaigns on social media and it negatively effects my work.

Exactly. I don't understand why they locked it. Even their promotion for free YouTube for four months asking me to subscribe in Indian rupees.

Hi, to change the country on the Samsung Account, please follow the below steps:

https://account.samsung.com Sign in >> Contact us >> Fill in request form with title 'Request for change of national information'.

Please note that:

If you change the account country, then all the history of what you purchased in the previous country will disappear (e.g. Galaxy Store, Points, etc.).

This is not a Samsung account limitation.

Purchase details are managed by each country under separate service policies.
