Dex and Telus Optik Tv

I use Dex on my lNote 20 Ultra with wired connection (HDMI & USB) to a IP67 Touch Screen monitor.  

When I try to open Telus Optik TV app I get message "Optik TV can't run in DEX, its designed for touch screen". Anyone know how to trick it to open, I've got a touch screen?

I think they designed the app to not run on external devices so people can't totally replace their cable service with the app by just showing it on a TV, or have two instances of cable. I dont think it actually has to do with it being a touch screen. I know alot of other cable services don't allow you to show content on external devices using their mobile app.

You can't use Dex for any tv, movies retransmissions .
