Samsung Health
Hello,
I've realized that the app does not calculate the calories properly anymore (last time used was over a year ago). It states abput 400 calories for a 60 minutes session where I also had a HRM attached to my body. On my machine itself, it states 821 calories. As for official statements, according to the Harvard Medical School, you burn approximately 2.16 calories for every pound of body weight during 30 minutes of elliptical use. Therefore, my machine, with the speed and resistance applied is more accurate than the app itself. Even without taking into consideration speed and resistance applied, into the app, 400 calories is far from bwing reality. Anyone else encountered this?
Have a great day!

Do you have your proper **bleep**, height, weight set in Samsung Health?
Is the HRM attach to your body connected to your elliptical machine or Shealth? what brand is the HRM device?
I find Shealth to closely match calories of the gym machines (treadmill, elliptical etc). I am using the Gear S3 connected to Note.

Height and weight is properly set. I have a Gear S3 + my HRM Garmin Premium strap connected to the SHealth app on a S10+. The app used to give a good estimate on the calories (over a year ago) but not anymore. I will try with the Gear S3 next time.
