When I start exercise in phone app e.g. cycling I would want to get the heart rate measurement from my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. I want to start the workout from phone since my phone is mounted on my bike's handlebar. This used to work for me for a while, but I had to reset my watch and now I'm unable to get this working again. The workout screen is showing the HRM symbol in the top left corner of the map when starting the workout and for short while during the workout on the map screen, but after short while (less than minute) the symbol disappears and the workout doesn't show any HR info.

I had the same problem when I bought the watch, but after some time it suddenly just started to work. I have no idea if that was something I did or something which happened to fix that. Anyway, I'm again unable to enable the feature and that is extremely annoying.

When the HRM symbol disappear, click 3 dots on right hand corner and check accessories. See if your watch is connected. Maybe having bluetooth connectivity issue.

No it still shows the watch as connected and the watch shows that it is connected to the phone.

It is weird that I originally had the same issue which then suddenly just started working. I'm not sure if it is something I did or what. After that it worked perfectly every single time until I reset the watch, which I now thoroughly regret.

Hi, just to confirm have you tried the below steps ? if not please try these steps and let us know if it working or not.

1. Check the watch's fit.

If the watch is too loose, or the sensor is dirty, it may have difficulty tracking your steps and heart rate. Clean the watch and make sure it's properly fitted to get the best results.

2. Reboot the watch.

Press and hold the Home key (Power key) and Back key simultaneously for 7 seconds, until the watch displays "Rebooting." When the watch has finished booting, test the step and heart rate trackers.

3. Check for software updates.

If you are still having issues after rebooting your watch, check for software updates on your watch and the Galaxy Wearable app.

1. The watch is measuring the HR just fine. The HR is correctly shown in the watch, it just is not received on the phone.

2. I have tried rebooting both watch and phone multiple times already.

3. There isn't any software updates available to the phone or to Samsung Health in either watch or phone.

Something changed when I reset the watch which caused this to not work anymore.

I have same problem (S20 FE + Watch 6 Classic) 😞

Addition: Watch => Factory reset (without install any app) & Tel => Uninstall all *Wear* app. New connect Watch & Tel and now HRM from watch works when workout started on tel!
