Hello, I have Scotiabank cards(visa and Amex) added to Samsung wallet. Make sure you have the Scotiabank app installed and logged in, you have not done already. Good luck
Call the bank and they will force it through. The bank blocks your samsung thinking its a fraud. Everytime you try to add the card it creates a token at the bank's end. They need to clear that before you try again. Do it with them on the phone. It happend to me with CIBC visa and they force it through after whitlisting my samsung. Hope this helps
I just called scotiabank and they told me there's no way around the problem, it's a technicsl issue with scotiabank, that they are working on a solution but no timeline. They said it's been ongoing since March and effects Apple google and Samsung.
I call bs because I deleted my card on iPhone and was able to register it again right away.
Samsung Wallet doesn't accept Scotiabank Debit cards. It does accept Scotiabank Visa and all CIBC debit/Visa cards. If you want to use Scotiabank Debit then use Google Pay instead, it accepts all bank cards as well Visa cards.
Really? I added my scotiabank visa debit to my samsung wallet. I was able to add and pay with it. But later when i tried to put my card onto my samsung galaxy watch(i think its the 2020 version.)
Then it was saying this card isnt supported by samsung wallet. Blah blah blah. Thing is i did add it to samsung wallet. Its just not adding to my watch.
