Can't enter PIN in Samsung wallet

I'm trying to set up the Samsung wallet. When the screen comes upafter this screenpictured it's the screen to enter the pin number. However no matter where I type nothing actually registers. So therefore I can't enter my pin which means I can't use the app. I tried wiping the cache by holding power and volume up when turned off, and removing and reinstalling the app, still the same. 

It's as if the screen deactivates when it's asking for a PIN. The only way to exit the PIN request screen is to use the power side button off then on, then pressing the home button. 

It's Samsung Galaxy fe20.

Same issue here with my S20 fe, but it just started after I had to replace my screen due to breaking it. The problem  persisted when I got my new(to me) note20. Happy it isn't just my phone having the issue, upset because these phones shouldn't have having this issue.

I uninstalled Google Wallet and it's working normally now.

It is a shame that Samsung does not care about this issue.

It looks so common on Galaxy S20

I never had any issues with Samsung Wallet on my S20 Ultra.. 

  • a) Is it a Canadian "W" device? 
  • b) Are you in Canada? 
  • c) Did you try Clearing BOTH Cache & Data for the app or Uninstall / Reinstall? 
  • d) Have you disabled any System Apps? 

If it was a device issue, then you would see thousands of people reporting it.. I've seen maybe 5 or 6 people here having problems.
