Samsung Pay asks for a zip code

I live in Canada but samsung pay is asking for a zip code.  Any fix for this? Pls help.

It worked for RBC credit card. Their debit card doesn't a CVV lol. It didn't work with TD bank secure credit card but that could be because it is a secure card. Thanks a lot. I've been in Canada 9 months now and I kept using my American cards because the zipcode thing was an issue. Thank you thank you thank you!

I put 01 after my postal code numbers and it worked

No.  If it's a US phone,  Canada banks will not let you pair your card.   Bogus!!  Boooooo!!!!  👎

I have the same problem using a US- made phone. Following @JackGunn's advice of adding two zeros + the three digits in my postal code '00xxx' worked! Thanks.
