Can You Screen Record on the Tab A7 Lite?

There doesn't seem to be anything in settings about it and the usual way of screen recording on a Samsung device doesn't do anything. Is it an option? Or do I have to download an app?

If you swipe down from top, in quick menu. Click 3 dots on top right -> Edit buttons.

Under available buttons, do you have screen recording icon? (See screenshot)

You can set the settings in:
Settings -> Advanced features -> screenshots and screen recorders

If the screen recorder button doesn't show up, press the 3 dots in the top right corner, reorder buttons, and drag and drop the screen recorder tile into the quick panel.

Yeah nothing for screen recorder shows up in quick panel, not even in the reorder/edit option...

No I don't have that option in my quick panel either, and there's no option to add it...

Yeah, that could happen. I had to same issue as you back when I had the Samsung A12 smartphone.

Samsung doesn't include things like screen recorder on their lower end devices so that might be why.

Makes sense then. 😊 Do you happen to know if an app can be installed from play store to be able to have this feature?

There's plenty of apps, just search "screen recorder" on the app store and try a few of them out.

Unfortunately, a lot of 3rd party apps contain waternarks or ads in the app so it's really quite sad that Samsung doesn't include a native screen recorder on lower end phones.

Hi, we would like to inform you that the Screen recorder feature is not available in tab A7 lite but you can download any other application from play store.
Before downloading the application don't forget to check the reviews.
