TabletsHi Bhadam,
We regret to learn that you are experiencing difficulties with your Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ after updating to One UI 8. The issues you described, such as being unable to change the wallpaper, random screen inputs, and frequent crashes, are not expected behaviors. To assist you further, we recommend performing the following steps:
-
Restart the device to clear temporary glitches.
-
Boot into Safe Mode to determine if third‑party apps may be causing the issue.
-
-
Power off your device.
-
Turn it back on, and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold Volume Down.
-
Keep holding until the device finishes restarting.
-
You’ll see “Safe Mode” at the bottom of the screen.
To exit Safe Mode, just restart your device normally.
-
-
Clear cache partition from Recovery Mode, which can help resolve performance problems after major updates.
-
-
Turn off your device completely.
-
Press and hold the Volume Up + Power (Side) button together until the Samsung logo appears.
-
Release the buttons when you see the Android Recovery screen.
-
Use the Volume Down button to scroll to Wipe cache partition.
-
Press the Power button to select it.
-
Confirm by choosing Yes with the Volume button, then press Power again.
-
Once complete, select Reboot system now.
This process clears temporary system files without deleting your personal data.
-
-
If the problem persists, back up your data and perform a factory reset to restore stability.
Should these steps not resolve the issue, we advise visiting an authorized service center for a detailed inspection.
