I gave up on Samsung support when the lady told me to hold the power/volume up/Bixby buttons at the same time. Yeah Bixby button! She wanted me to enter the recovery mode to factory reset when I told her many times my reason for communicating is that I can not get into recovery mode. If they can please stop reading from a script and listen to the customer it would be great.
Anyways ... is this a common issue to not enter recovery mode? I have had 4 other Samsung devices and never had this issue. Even my S20 FE is on Android 12 and it works for recovery mode.

No documentation whatsoever. Tab S6 used to be able to boot directly into recovery, but not anymore since last major OS update. Tab S8+ right out of the box can't boot directly into recovery. Can't be OS because Note 10+ can still boot directly into recovery with latest updates. And it's across the entire line as users have reported the same thing. It's not an isolated incident.

@Helenna. Recovery mode boot up does not work. It boots into normal user interface.

I talked to the local repair facility and they said that is normal now for both Tab S8 and S22 lineup.

You have to use adb using the command "adb shell reboot recovery"
I have to do that with my Tab S7+
