I was studying for my final and i accidentally tabbed side of the tablet and it started making some weird continuous vibration.

Somethings definitely wrong but I couldn't find any cases like mine.
This freaked me out in 2 am 😭😭

Did you try a simple Reboot?

If you have GoodLock's "Nice Catch" installed, open it and check to see if Nice Catch can tell you the source of the vibration?

You could also go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > System Vibration & Toggle Vibration Off & On. See if these suggestions help?

Hi taeyeon_ss,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We regret to hear that your device began vibrating continuously after being tabbed on the side. This behavior is unusual and may indicate that the vibration motor was inadvertently triggered or that a system process became unresponsive.

We recommend the following steps to help resolve the issue:

  1. Restart the device: Power off the tablet completely and turn it back on to reset the system.

  2. Check vibration settings: Navigate to Settings > Sounds and vibration to ensure no unintended vibration patterns are enabled.

  3. Safe Mode test: Restart the device in Safe Mode to determine if a third‑party application is causing the issue.

  4. Software update: Confirm that your tablet is running the latest software version, as updates often include stability improvements.

  5. Factory reset (last resort): If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset after backing up your data.

If the vibration continues despite these steps, we recommend visiting an authorized service center for further assistance.
