WearablesHi MeetSavsani2,
You can Activate or deactivate the active noise canceling feature which blocks out the external sounds around you. You can use it when you want to avoid distractions, such as when listening to music. If the microphone and its area (the outer microphone while wearing the earbuds) are covered completely, feedback may occur when launching the active noise canceling feature. The ANR feature of Galaxy Buds Live removes the background noise of the low band while letting the important stuff like voices and announcements. Because of the design characteristics without ear tips, you may feel certain sounds are louder when the earbuds are not fit correctly in your ears or depending on surrounding environments. A correct fit will give you the best sound and active noise canceling.
You can also launch the feature with the earbuds by setting the preset tap-and-hold feature to activate active noise canceling.
1. Launch the Galaxy Wearable app on the mobile device and tap Touch controls.
2. Tap Left or Right under Touch and hold and select Active noise canceling.
3. When you want to block out the external sounds around you, touch and hold the earbud.
The active noise canceling feature is activated. A correct fit will give you the best sound and active noise canceling.

WearablesYou can activate the "amplify ambient sounds" under accessibility settings. It's quite huge a hidden bonus. It will amplify all surrounding sounds significantly through your headset and ALL Bluetooth devices. That means not only your earphones but also a Bluetooth speaker which actually lets you use your phone at a mic and pa system. The issue is that it uses the Mic on the phone to pick up the sound so your phone must be out and near you (not rubbing in your pocket) for the earphone benefit. However the phone mic is great for the PA function.
If they will enable the ability to swap between the phone mic and the earphone mic, this feature will be sorted in a flash!
They definitely can do it with software update alone.

WearablesI love galaxy buds live!!!
Sound:
the sound is amazing. better than all my other previous earphones, and i've had some highend earphones. it has the best range i have come across with bass not only solid but DEEEEEP.
they sound great when verticle in your ear, letting lots of ambient sound in. then if you want club sound you push them in a bit deeper and they thump!
there is plenty bass and plenty highs.
i also use the samsung sound assistant app to give me more features and adjustability.
comfort and secure
they never fall out or get caught when changing tshirts etc and you can even lie comfortably on your side on a pillow while listening. this is something i do every day so its a huge benefit.
i love the outer ear position. 99% of earphones require you to shove them down your ear canal which is uncomfortable but also makes you feel like you have a serious head-cold with blocked ears and feeling like you're not part of reality. to be able to hear your surroundings (hence leave your buds in your ears) and still have amazing sound from that position is an extraordinary job well done.
that being said, (for me) they are not as comfortable as bose stay tips which are a soft silicone. i would say that bose staytips are the best in the business(at least for me), but the previous version, not the noise cancelling ones, as they have the additional seal that cuts you off from the outside world. i'd say you need both versions so that in the real world you use the regular tips that allow sound in and when on a plane etc you pop on the sealed tips.
i am getting more used to wearing the buds live for longer periods but i am aware that they are in mainly because they push lightly but consistently against a peak of my ear cartilage. i find i can adjust them a little up and down to give certain areas of my cartilage a rest. it would be awesome if somebody made alternative eartips out of something soft like silicone for the buds live with a few more shapes and sizes. With a the proposed eartip options i think we could virtually eliminate any discomfort over longer periods.
Noise cancelling:
when worn vertically in my ears, which is great to let surrounding sound in, the noise cancelling has no chance and is ineffective. if flying though, i wear the buds deeper in my ear so that it seals against my earcanal. the noise cancelling then does a decent job albeit not the best in the business.
i think samsung or aftermaket could make silicone tips (similar to bose end piece) to put over the front of the buds for times like flying etc when wants maximum noise cancellation.
ambient mode:
buds live let ambient sound in by default which is the first big attraction, however, since they already have inner and outer mics, Samsung should enable a full version of ambient/amplification mode. (hopefully just a software update.
all in all, buds live tick more boxes and have more unique features than any other earphone. they are near perfect.
In summary, add:
- more, softer eartips,
- amplified surroundings mode,
- optional silicone tip for improved noise cancellation,
and these will be unbeatable in almost all departments.
