Galaxy watch 4 AR emoji issue

I have the galaxy watch 4 and have had no issues,  I love it. My phone is the S21 ultra , I created my own personal AR emoji and it's so neat. My husband got one as well, he has the S20+. But he is unable to create his own emoji. Is there a reason why he can't create his emoji.  Is it the phone model? I notice I have a higher version of the AR emoji app but can't seem to figure out how to upgrade the app on the s20+.

S20+ support the AR Emoji as well. Can you describe how your husband not able to create his emoji? Any error messages? Emoji not shown in Gallery?

It won't add the emoji to the pre-made emoji watch faces. We've tried several time it does not save. Basically you create the emoji. It saves it you click all done and nothing is there. Emoji is on the phone but not on watch faces.

Hi Marani, Please unpair and re-pair your husband's watch 4 with S20 and pair it with S21 and check if it works fine.
