Hello everyone,
I don't know if am the only one have this issue. I been using my Galaxy Watch Ultra for about 3 months now, love it, no issues at all, the battery usually last me about 2 days with always on turn on, and recording work outs for 2 times (1 per day). Nothing changes since I using it, no setting changes either. Just very recently, like the past 2 or 3 days, the battery life is bad, very bad. Yesterday, I didn't work out, the Watch only lasted about 14 hours, it went 100% when I woke up around 7:30 a.m. to 5% at 7:30 p.m.

What is happening to my Watch? Anyone has the same issue lately? Anyone knows why and how to fix it?

Sorry for the long reading!!
Have a wonderful day~😊

Hi RafaelEnzo,

We understand how concerning unexpected battery drain can be, especially when your Galaxy Watch Ultra has been performing well before.

If you haven’t made any recent changes to settings, this could be due to a background process, a or a temporary system issue. Please try the following steps to optimize battery performance:

A simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.

Check battery usage. Navigate to Settings > Battery to see if any specific app or function is consuming more power than usual.

Optimize Battery Settings: Disable Wi-Fi, GPS, and Always-On Display when not needed. Reduce screen brightness: Settings > Display > Brightness. Close unused background apps by swiping up and clearing them.

If you recently installed an app and notice a battery drain, try uninstalling it.

Ensure your watch is running the latest software by going to Galaxy Wearable app > Watch software update.

If the issue persists, you can try a factory reset after backing up your data (Settings > General > Reset).

Please let us know if the above steps worked for you and get back to us if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.

If the reboot doesn't work, then clear the watch cache. You can find instructions on youtube.

Or just back up the watch and reset it.

Thank you so much for the advise. I restarted the Watch this morning after I woke up, and worked out for like an hour, so far, looks like the battery is back to normal. With 4 hours use and an hour work out recording, I still have 92% with always on turned on 😊

Hi RafaelEnzo,

It’s great to hear that your watch is performing well after the restart. Please continue monitoring it over the next few days to ensure everything stays consistent.

If you notice the issue again, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Check for updates: Ensure your Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Wearable app are running the latest software.
  2. Reset the watch cache: Use the Galaxy Wearable app to clear cache or reset background settings if needed.
  3. Monitor app usage: Some third-party apps may consume more power than usual, especially if they’re syncing data in the background.

Please reach out to us if you need any further assistance in the future. We're glad to assist you!

Thank you.

I just had this issue too after previously being amazed at the battery life! Last night I charged my Ultra to 100%, then by 5pm it had died. Absolutely baffling.

Restart the Watch by turn off and turn on the Watch did fixed the problem, and we just got a software update, hopefully that fix the problem once for all 😊
