Samsung wallet unavailable on watch 5 after update

I updated my watch to the new One UI version. I was told Samsung pay would become Samsung wallet and I could add cards, digital key etc. with the update. About Samsung pay shows Samsung Wallet/Pay (Watch) Version 5.1.82.04 yet nothing new in wearable app. Cannot add anything but credit cards. 

I have Samsung wallet on my S23 without issue but want to have the option to leave phone behind. 

Also I am in Canada if that has anything to do with it. Samsung's customer service doesn't have a clue.

We are sorry to hear that your'e experiencing this issue after an update. 

Please try resetting the Samsung Wallet app on your watch:

1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
2. Go to Watch settings > Apps > Samsung Wallet/Pay.
3. Clear cache and data for Samsung Wallet (if an option is available).
4. Uninstall and reinstall Samsung Wallet from the Galaxy Store on your watch.

Also, if you have any other card please try to add it to the Samsung wallet app and check if it works.

Is it true that this app has not been updated for Canadian users

You can only add credit cards, memberships, coupons, and transit cards (credit cards only) to your Canadian Galaxy Watch.

Samsung Canada has been disappointingly slow in rolling out new features for the Samsung Wallet app.

☝️. Agreed. Despite preferring Samsung security and the convenience of the swipe up to open, I have given up and gone back to Google Wallet

I still use it a lot, but really hoping they will release more functions this year😂🙏

I believe the recent update introduced the transit card function, which is a step forward. I also wish they had included more features to enhance the app further.

I want to be able to use the digital key for my new car without having to carry my phone.
