Recently got a galaxy 7 watch lte, after tying it to my s24 ultra I'm getting duplicate texts. Tried my provider for a solution but still happening sim and esim check out on their end. Anyone have a solution for this?

Duplicate text messages with a Galaxy Watch 7 LTE paired to your Galaxy S24 Ultra can occur due to how text forwarding and notifications are handled between your phone and watch.

If your watch is LTE-enabled and has its own number (via an eSIM), message forwarding may cause duplicates:

Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. Go to Watch Settings > Notifications. Look for "Show Notifications From Phone" or similar options and disable message forwarding if enabled. Test by sending a text to see if duplicates stop.

If the issue persists, resetting your phone's network settings might help:

Go to Settings > General Management > Reset. Select Reset Network Settings and confirm. Reconnect your phone to Wi-Fi and mobile networks, and test the messaging feature again.
