new thing that came with the 8.0.0 update was the fact if you swipe away notifications the badge for the app no longer shows up
any way to disable this feature and just have badges on apps no matter what, because I often clear notifications because clutter and now I forget I even have anything for the app, like snapchat or messenger which is very annoying because I can't answer when I'm working and completely forget to because I don't think I have any texts because the apps don't show it....
If you use a different launcher like Nova then it works like before. Even if you swipe away the notification in the tray it still shows up on the badge.
Hey @Vlad, to help us troubleshoot, could you please submit a device error log when this happens again? From the Samsung Members application, tap the “Feedback” icon. Tap the Pen icon and then submit an “Error report”. Thanks!
love the oreo update except for the notifications no showed up badge, bad bad bad!. samsung needs to fix this asap. Any solution out there without using a second launcher?
