Hi Everyone,
I purchased my A54 in late Nov 2023. Recently it has started having an issue where it will randomly reboot. It happens about 5 times per day. It is not associated with any particular app. It is not the camera 2x zoom issue. I do not have the automatic optimization reboot function turned on. I have been sending error reports via Samsung Manager.

It may be related to disconnecting from wifi (I have noticed it reboot shortly after walking out of wifi range when the phone is switching to cellular data). But this could be a red herring.

I have seen previous posts about this, but no resolution has been noted in those posts. Looking for answers, if they exist.

I have 90 day to return the phone, which is coming up fast. I may just do that if the issue doesn't get resolved shortly.

Thanks

Hi, I request you to please perform the below steps once and check.

If your phone is misbehaving, it is possible that a third-party app is causing the issue.

To figure out which app is acting funny, you can use the Safe Mode feature.

In Safe Mode, your phone will not run any third-party apps.

This allows you to easily identify and remove the app that may be causing the problem.

To enter Safe Mode, please perform the following:

First, completely power off the phone.

Then, power on the phone and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume down key.

If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen.

If "Safe Mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above.

Once you are in Safe Mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues on your phone.

To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone and it will reboot normally.

Important: When you exit Safe Mode, some of your customization options (wallpapers, themes, etc.) may be reset to default.

How am I supposed to identify which app is causing the issue?

You could get a logcat of what's happening with your device.

You should then see which app(s) are causing the issue.

Also, I have seen this recommendation many times, I am able to use my phone. I do not need to boot in safe mode. It will just randomly reboot through the day. I would prefer not to have to delete all the apps in order to isolate which one is potentially causing a problem.
