Why is a folder called "Android" created on sd card or any other external media? The folder Android  already exists on main storage and I suspect it is malware.

The directory "Android" when deleted  effects nothing and since the folder is only created on a blank external media it clearly isn't needed.  Also if there folder "Android" is deleted and the phone is powered off it, recreates the folder "Android"

I believe this is normal behaviour as the android OS "may" need that folder on external memory depending on what your doing 🤷

It's not malware, it's normal for the Android system to create that folder on external storage.

What is the Android Folder?

Android Folder is a very important folder. If you go to your file manager and select sd card or internal storage here you can find a folder called Android. This folder created from a new situation on the phone. This folder was still created when the new sd card inserts on the phone. This folder creates the Android system itself. So you can see this folder when you insert any new sd card

it is not normal. once off the applications that appear is podcast republic an app I downloaded. This had nothing to do with these system and should not be recreated everytime there phone is rebooted. Also the ship doesn't have permissions to access storage.
