My son's Galaxy A10 somehow ended up on the green download screen and has an error in red in the top left corner.  I have tried everything to get this phone back to working condition.  Anyone have any other suggestions?20200423_155708.jpg20200423_155706.jpg

Looks like you might have to perform a Factory Reset depending on what was going on before - Was your son trying to do something out of the ordinary with the device - ie: Root the device? (I'm not suggesting that he was - just asking) - It's also possible to see this after applying an OTA if something goes wrong..
If he was trying to Root it & it failed - Best thing to do would be to Flash the Stock Samsung Firmware with Odin...
Really depends on what was going on before it Booted to this screen - Download Mode.

Anyway - Something is corrupted.

I think you hit the nail on the head @Shaggyskunk1
Been down this road where they toy with it, deny it, but albiet unfortunately true 🤦
I'm leaning 8 outta 10 with @Shaggyskunk1
Flash it back 🤷

On this image, this thing can haapened if somebody try to make a Wipe Cache Partition and press the wrong volume key. To cancel this, you have to press the down volume key ans power key at the same time...but the second picture let us think he try to flash the device

"Custom Boot" in both images strongly suggests that someone tried to Root it - I can't see Wiping Cache EVER result in the Custom Boot message - But yes You could accidentally Boot into Download Mode - But you wouldn't see "Custom Boot".

Hey @ ugadawgs79
Your device needs to be examined by an Samsung authorized technician

Flashing the Stock Samsung Firmware with Odin would likely fix the issue - Especially if they tried to Root it - It's virtually impossible to actually "brick" a Samsung device As long as it's not a hardware problem.
