creating your own bluetooth PIN

In older and some other bluetooth systems it was possible to create your own bluetooth PIN.

Can a user create their own  PIN instead of the phone generating a PIN?

No. This is impossible since Bluetooth 2.1

Wouldnt it be more secure to perform a independent PIN creation?
When a PIN is created it must be transmitted over the airway to the other user.

No as humans are incapable of random number generation. That would render MiM attacks much easier to do

So humans can't create there own password s?

if a user creates there own PIN then the only person's aware of the PIN is there user that created it and the other person.

We don't have option to create our own pin and the device will generate pin similar to OTP for instance.

keagan my point is that it is more secure to create a PIN than have it generated.

I am aware that the option to create your item bluetooth PIN dorant appear to exist
