Camera Quality

Oh my

I just realised my camera settings far too high for my needs.

Each photo is many times more than I need at 6,7,8, 12 MB's. This is WAAAAAAAAAAY more than I need and cutting into my storage space.

A test photo was 12 MB!!!!???. It only needs 2 or 3 MAX!

I saw nothing obvious camera settings.

How do I reduce the quality?

Samsung is known to be taking high quality picture!

High quality shouldn't be mutually exclusive of choosing lower settings.
When I called prior to purchase to enquire they assured me you could. Mistaken I guess.

Hi, can you confirm if it is for the front camera or rear camera?

Hi, we suggest you to follow these steps and see if it works.

Launch the camera app >> on the top of the screen next to the Camera Settings icon you will find options for current shooting mode, here Select an aspect ratio and resolution for pictures.

I didn't think aspect ratio made a difference but it actually seems to. Testing it a photo ranged from 14 MB to 2.4 MB
{3:4 (64 MB) to Full respectively}.
