My moms A51 now has a blue dotted circle when you touch the screen and you have to very deliberately have to touch the screen with pressure. I can't find a setting to change this back for her. It makes it very difficult to type etc.
Please help!

From the accessibility settings turn off "ignore repeated touches" and this would fix the problem.

Settings>Accessibility>Interaction and dexterity>Ignore repeated touches.

figured it out ... "tap duration" needed to be turned off
