@MEV, Tap settings, lock screen and security, clock and face widgets, clock style, scroll across to the style of clock you would like, tap APPLY and your clock is set on the lock screen.

This only works if you have Oreo on your phone. On previous versions of Android, you can't do this.

You can't. IMO be it's a really, really dumb change made by Samsung. The clock should be horizontal, and not vertical. Don't know what Samsung is thinking, or if they were thinking.

If you have a notification on your lock screen, the clock will display horizontally. I have Galaxy Tab A (2017) with Nougat and installed app ACR (Automatic Call Record), which has notifications even on lock screen. Clock reads properly across. A trick I use on my Galaxy S5 neo also running Nougat.

Hey @MEV, as mentioned in the Notice, you will be receiving Android O update on June 25th. You will be able to change clock style in the process that @jayman1973 provided. Thanks!
