Email notification SOUND vs. Text Message SOUND

How do I change the sound on my Galaxy A52 5g so that the sound when I receive a text differs from the sound when I receive an email? I like the notification sound I get  when I receive an email ... but I just want a different sound when I receive  text message. Is there an easy was to do this?

On my S21 Ultra I like to change my notification sound ever so often as I get tired of hearing the same sound all the time.
Here's how to change the notification sound:
1) Go into settings
2) Sounds and vibration
3) Tap on notification sound
4) Scroll through the lists until you find the sound you like. You can listen to the sound while scrolling.
5) After choosing the sound, exit all the way back to the home screen.
Your notification sound is now set for when you receive text messages.

When I do this ... I get the same sound on incoming emails AND incoming texts. I am looking to get two different sounds. One for incoming emails, and a different sound for incoming texts.

Which email program are you using Outlook, Gmail?

My suggestion is

Open Samsung Messages app → 3 dots on top right → Settings → Notifications → Click on New Messages

Choose sound you like. This will have different sound from email when new SMS arrived.

I do this and choose the sound OWL (for text messages) ... but the sound still comes thru the same as it does on an email (SPACELINE). I have no idea why.

Try different sounds ? I am sure it works cause I use different sounds for text message.

I tried different sounds ... and now I have a different text notification sound. It's not the one I'm selecting ... but I'll settle for it, because at least it's different than my email sound notification.
