Hello! I am new here and I actually am new to Samsung phones as well. I would really appreciate it if someone could please help me with this issue.
so, I got a Samsung A10e recently(only a few months ago)and I noticed a problem pretty quickly. I don’t get media notifications. Or message notifications on text. What I mean by that is, If I get a Skype notification or a messenger one or pretty much anything else, it doesn’t make a sound. I have the notifications and media sounds all the way up but I sometimes, if I’m lucky, get only a vibration. Sometimes nothing at all. It makes no sound. I don’t get Skype calls. I get texts but I get only vibrations with other things. I keep my phone in a phone case on my hip and even the vibrations seem really weak, compared to a trackphone. So, I can’t really tell. I have missed many texts, and notifications because of this. The only thing that really works is phone calls. I get calls but if someone calls on Skype, it doesn’t even go through. On messenger, it only vibrates. I don’t have it on vibrate and all my volumes are up.
another thing, and this makes me not even want to use the phone anymore, sadly. Is, I do not get anything with Bluetooth. Only if I have media maxed out to an ear damaging volume am I even able to hear texts. It’s like media volume overshadows everything and the other volume controls are turned down to nothing. They all suddenly only rely on media volume. Only if I gave that maxed out do I get text notifications that I can actually hear. I also get no notifications for Skype and Skype calls don’t even register. No vibration, nothing. Messenger calls only vibrate, if they go through. I either get only vibrations for ANY notifications, but they also don’t even come through half the tine. I absolutely refuse to have my face glued to my phone in order to constantly be checking who messaged me and I absolutely refuse even the idea of not using Bluetooth but unless I do either one, I will miss everything. Is something wrong with this phone?I have never had a phone that did anything like this before. It also gives me random message notifications but I look and...there is nothing.
I can’t use Bluetooth and I can literally leave Bluetooth off and hear a messenger call come through on my IPad and Laptop but the phone only vibrates. Am I doing something wrong? Is it supposed to do this? Surely not, right? I get everything else on my other devices but not on my phone. What if someone texts me something important or gets hurt or something and I miss their message? I have been through so many troubleshooting ideas but it either doesn’t work, the setting for some reason doesn’t exist, or it isn’t spplicable to my phone because I already have it set to the right things. I can also not seem to even find this problem anywhere, aside from troubleshooting guides that didn’t help.
