Can't you just use the email address that was provided to you by cogeco?

I think he is trying to set up his cogeco email on his phone.
The best way to set this up would be Microsoft exchange compared to IMAP/POP
Also your provider should be able to provide detailed instructions on how to do this, if not I can provide you similar instructions we provide to Shaw customers.

Hey @lacascla,
In this case, you can launch the Samsung Email app from your phone to set up your Cogeco email address. On the "Add New Account" page, enter your email credentials and click "Manual Setup".
When prompted for account type, select "POP3 account" from the list. It will ask you to confirm some settings—make sure they are configured exactly as shown below.
Incoming server
POP3 server: pop.cogeco.ca
Security type: SSL
Port: 995
Outgoing server
SMTP Server: smtp.cogeco.ca
Security type: TLS
Port: 587
After that, click sign in. Hope this helps!
