Does Samsung offer a firewall for their phones? If not why ? as all other operating systems do.

I agree, I have been faced with this delema and felt concerned for a while now. Especially with the fact that i use my parents and other wifi networks, yet with the ability to share all of the great ideas and additions within open source sofrtware hinders alot of boundarys. The apps have permission to run within there designated folders, and unfortunately for those that are unconforatable with the concept, some of these files are in a shared storage

Some apps you cannot change the permission such as Bixby routines. App such as those could be activated to communicate unsolicited.
But I find it difficult to believe no one from Samsung considered implementing this technology.

Actually you can change the permissions with appops from the play store, it needs adb & another app called shizuku, but you can modify the permissions for any system apps. You need to be careful about what you change.

This does not affect warranty.

The purpose of changing permissions is so the user of tube phone can decide which apps have access to the services on the phone. Samsung took that option away from users with apps like Bixby routine, Bixby service e.t.c. adb is not for novice users.
