Galaxy AUPDATE May 2023. Better late than never.
- Credit where it is due and Samsung is due some credit .... One of the updates to my phone fixed this issue and now my friends and colleagues no longer comment that I sound like a robot on Bluetooth in my Honda
Thank you Sammy
Got a new a53 and it works well but it has an issue with Bluetooth connection in my Honda accord 2013.
It is not a problem with my Honda has my previous LG phone worked absolutely perfectly with it.
My a53 connects to my car just fine and plays music perfectly and connects calls perfectly also but my own voice is garbled by distortion when I try to speak to anyone over the phone.
This is almost certainly a software issue with the a53 as there would be much more reports if it was a problem with Android.
And yes you can find other people on the internet who have this exact same issue with the a53.
JJust just fix it please.

Galaxy AThere are 47 comments by the users at the moment, but looks like there is no Samsung rep here who went into dialogue. Anyone knows how to tag a Samsung rep or point their attention to this topic correspondence?

Galaxy AI wish I had seen these post before getting these phones. Every call I make, the person I'm speaking to says I sound like a robot or "underwater." I drive a 2016 Hyundai Tucson. What's worse, it will not work with my Amazon Auto Echo. I had an LG V60, which gave me no issues. We switched to Xfinity and could not bring our LG phones to the new service. I have spent too many hours on the phone with Samsung Technical Support. They keep reading off a playbook telling me to do the same things over and over, none of which works.

Galaxy AI have had the same issues with my A53. Spent 3 hours troubleshooting with Samsung to no avail, then was told to take it to a local service center since it is still under warranty. They found no issues with the phone that they could determine would cause this Bluetooth issue. Called Samsung back and was asked to take my car to the dealership to check the microphone (REALLY?). I did that free of charge ,thankfully, and of course it is not an issue with my car's mic because every other phone I have ever had has been fine with it. I then sent the phone to Samsung per their request, they shipped it back saying they had replaced 2 parts related to USB to PC connection and Bluetooth. I tested the phone again on a DUO call via my car's bluetooth since I had since acquired a S22 with a great trade in deal, and my A53 is no longer set up to make regular calls. Same issue persists with the robot voice distortion. I am able to use the S22 with my car's Bluetooth with absolutely no issues. My problem now is I am stuck having to pay off the A53 and have no use for it other than to try and sell it to someone who doesn't care about Bluetooth functionality. I have texted the 2 guys who helped me previously at Samsung and am basically being ghosted now. I think at the very least they should offer me some kind of reimbursement. it is clearly an issue with this particular model of phone. Sorry for the rant. I guess I need to leave a review on the Samsung website in order to get their attention.

Galaxy AI have the exact same problem with my A53 and 2017 Toyota RAV4. When is this going to be fixed? I have been on the phone 4 times with Samsung. I took the phone to UBreakIFix as they requested. This appears to need a software update. Samsung, can you please get on this?

Galaxy AYes, Sounds just like my 2017 Subaru, I Think it is time for samsung to realize the issues with distortion on phone, receiving and calling out.

Galaxy AI have the same problem with my Toyota Rav4. I updated my car's bluthoot software and the problem persists. After I took the car to the Toyota garage, and they made adjustments to the radio they charged me 60 dollars and that did not solve the problem. It is clear that the problem is with the phone. Please fix the problem.

Galaxy ASame issue in 2018 subatu legacy in 2018 forester in 2016 Hyundai Tucson as well as a 2022 Toyota and another 2021 hyundai. My personal car is the 2018 legacy and I have found if I move the phone away from the dashboard it seems to be better however in my wife's forester doesn't matter where I put the phone it's God-awful.
Anyone want to join a class action suit. This is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. I immediately took the phone back to AT&T I got a second 1. Same problem. I don't know what the issue is but it's downright embarrassing. I miss my moto G7 phone and I should have bought another 1 of those
I wonder how long it will be before someone gets into an accident fiddling around with their phone trying to take a call trying to listen through the phone speaker So the person on the other end can understand you.. this is absolutely insane.
Samsung do something about this. in the meantime I think I'm stopping at the AT&T store and see what my options are to switch to another brand. I suspect I'm locked in with this phone for 30 months. That's 30 months of living hate to spew how awful Samsung phones are.
