Galaxy AComplain to Google.. Google is responsible for the Play System Updates.. And yes, Google needs to get their act together for Samsung Mobile Phones!!
Play System Updates were updated in November, but we are still on July or September 1st..
Again, it's Google, not Samsung's fault!

Galaxy AYou are wrong!
Google releases the Google Play System Updates, NOT Samsung..
They are not called "Samsung Play System Updates"!
Samsung Canada is only responsible for the Monthly Security Patch Updates & One UI version Updates..
"Google releases the Google Play System Updates (also known as Mainline updates) for Samsung mobile phones, not Samsung. While Samsung delivers monthly security patches, Google directly pushes these core system updates to Android devices to improve security and add features."
Play System Updates were released for November 1st, but so far, not in Canada.

Galaxy A"
The problem with Google Play system updates has returned on Samsung phones. Various Galaxy devices (phones and tablets) have stopped receiving new updates from Google, leaving them behind in this important aspect.
It came to light that many Samsung phones have not received new Google Play system updates for months. A handful of Galaxy models are stuck on July and August releases, which raises concerns of security and reliability.
Well, it’s not the first time we’re reporting such news. Galaxy users complained many times about the issue with the Play system updates. Even though new One UI updates are coming, Play system updates feel totally stuck.
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series, Z Fold 7, and Z Flip 7 have September’s Play system update. A newer version is available on One UI 8.5, which is a follow-up to One UI 8. Hopefully, the stalled rollout will kick-start soon.
IT'S NOT SAMSUNG'S FAULT BUT GOOGLE'S."

Galaxy AHi 星星晨StarMorning,
Thank you for sharing the screenshot and raising your concern regarding the Google Play system update. Based on the details provided, your device is currently up to date with Android version 16, and the last Google Play system update reflects July 1, 2025.
If you are experiencing issues with Google Play system updates, we recommend the following steps:
1. Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
2. Restart the device and attempt to check for updates again via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
3. Clear cache and data for the Google Play Services app (Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > Clear cache).
Should the issue persist, we encourage you to contact Google support team for further assistance.

Galaxy ANone of these steps will do anything!.
It's a known issue with Play System Updates after a One UI / Android version update.
It's *believed", that this Google issue may be corrected in January.
