My Files, preinstalled problem

The My Files app on my A50 version 12.2.00.251 has telephone permissions which cannot be removed because it considers the permission required to operate. 

The galaxy store shows the following for My Files 

[required permissions] is storage used to open, delete, edit, search files and folders on internal / external memory. 

Why is Samsung forcing the telephone permissions on my A50 for the My Files app which cannot be removed?

Sorry Georgine, that was the Samsung app which also has telephone permission that users mobile data. The My files does not use mobile data.

We, it's an insignificant amount, but My Files did use about 58kb so far this month. 

But I can't think of any reason why it should use any Cell data. But it did.

Samsung had not provided an explanation on their own app my files as well as camera on how they use the telephone permission in 1 month?

As I said previously, there is no legitimate reason for for My Files to require these permissions.  So Samsung can't give you an explanation & they are hoping that you just forget about it.

It does not seem reasonable that the app my files and camera should take more than 10 days to identify why those apps that Samsing created requires the telephone permission?
