No Mobile Data toggle switch

Hey,
   
I have a galaxy a8 the canadian model and for some reason there is no mobile data toggle switch. I've had this phone for a couple of month waiting for an update to fix this problem but there was none. So could you please take this into consideration.

You never had the Mobile Data Toggle because the Canadian Carriers removed it - If you want it - It's a simple adb command to restore it 🐧

Just coming across this & trying to understand it. I have an A5 in Canada, stock version. Yet the A8 which is a newer model has REMOVED the Mobile Data Toggle? 🤔 This makes no sense. What possible amount of data was saved in doing that??

I don't think it has somthing to do with saving data. It just seems to be some regulation or somthing from network providers in Canada.

adb adb adb. more adb. you can also download setedit and go into a shell and type:

pm grant by4a.setedit22 android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

Then you'll have access to more things ;)
