Notifications stop Tidal music from playing

I have put (Calendar, Gmail, Messaging & Keep Notes) to silent notifications. Often when playing Tidal (my favorite music streaming app) a notification will pause my music, after which I have to restart playback. Any tips on how to have my music continue even when a notification comes in? Thanks.

Hi Luteman, if you haven't tried to perform Clear cache and Clear data for the music app, please perform and check for the issue.

Toggle ON Do Not Disturb while listening to music if you don't want to be interrupted.

It could be a setting in the Tidal app? 

I use Spotify, and I can hear the Notification (it's called Audio Ducking) as the music Volume drops during the Notification, but resumes to normal Volume after the Notification.
