Don't know if it'll fix your issue, but I always Boot into Recovery after every Security Patch OTA & Wipe Cache.

See if that works for you?

I do this task after every patch update but it doesnt resolve all the issues. Considering also that this phone is approximatly 1 year old and i dont had any other hardware problems since my purchase last december. I wonder when will Samsung release the next update with fixes.🤔

Have you checked under Settings, battery and device care to see what is actually using up your battery??

It was Youtube that took 40% + of my battery😑. But seriously Samsung has to look for a system that prevent apps from draining your battery that much. I know there is the background limiter but sometimes it doesnt feel much a difference. I read on a community post that one ui 6 will bring the option to optimise the battery saving, something like that. Lesson learned to wait for a stable patch update.

Personally I got 3 hours and 50 minutes of SoT yesterday with ~65% battery consumption, and past yesterday I got 6 hours and 40 minutes of SoT with ~80% battery consumption. It was with using the Always on Display, both wifi and 5g, and location enabled. I would say it's similar to the screen time I normally have.

Speaking of SOT, The graphic on the device care app is filled with spikes on my side 😂. So i understand your situation because we are in the same boat.

All my a series phones always got worse after updates I'm upgraded to the s23 so it's more reliable and I can upgrade my phone every year for a lot cheaper
