Q: why can I not record calls on an A20 galaxy?

Is it possible  to update the calling app to include recording  calls?

I recently had to switch over as I lost my previous call recordings and I need to get that data back.

Does anyone know about this ?

Open the Phone app on your Galaxy A20. On the top-right corner, tap the 3-dot overflow menu button and go to Settings. From the Record Calls option, enable Auto record calls.

I think that the record call option isn't compatible with the galaxy a series (screenshot from a53 5g)

It's also varies on where you are from as well as some places it's illegal to record people's conversations so samsung removes that feature ..

Well, even though call recording is Legal in Canada (only one party on the call needs to be aware that it is being recorded), Samsung does not offer it in Canada.
