QR SCANNER in quick select on A50

What is the purpose of the QR scanner, quick select. This feature was added about 3 updates back and appears to be obsolete. 

When I open the camera it has an option to automatically QR scan, so why would I open the quick select to activate?

Hey @SamSungtwo,

We can use Quick Access Settings to access popular phone features or turn settings on or off, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, Auto Rotate, and more. However, we can access these settings by going to phone settings and apps. 

These quick settings will allow users to access some of the features and we can rearrange these toggles buttons by clicking on the three-dot menu on the right top of the notification panel screen and click on button order and hold and drag the buttons to arrange as per requirement.

That does not answer my question. if I do not Need to access QR scanner from quick access what function does it serve? My camera must be active for QR scanner to scan.

What situation would require me to access, quick access to activate the QR scanner?
