Galaxy AHelp me please, I'm desperate!
My 116gb sd card is no longer detected on my samsung a21s, it says "sd not inserted".
I was downloading some files on the internet, changing the download option on samsung browser to "save to sd" (one of those files were like 359mb big), then I tried to delete one of these files because I didn't need it and it said that was impossible to delete it. Then appeared the message "problem with sd card...sd turned on lecture mode to avoid data loss" and this kinda block the archive and gallery apps I was using. So I restarted the phone and when it booted it said "sd not inserted" (and I did not pull it out), even later when I tried to pull it out and reinserted it the phone didn't recognise it.
There was all my life in that sd card, please tell me that nothing got deleted automatically and that there's a way to make it work again!

Galaxy AFor safety's sake & in order to try and prevent any data loss, I would start by copying everything from the sd card to my computer.
Next, If you have an sd card adapter, what I would do would be to remove the sd card from your phone & scan it for errors with your Windows computer.
It does sound as though some file or files may be corrupted on the sd card.
SD cards can become corrupted & even fail, so having multiple backups is always a good idea, whether it's to your computer, or cloud account, or both.
Hopefully you will have been able to copy all the important data to your computer.
If it were mine & you have been successful to this point, I would Format the sd card & then scan it again for any errors.
The outcome of this would dictate my next step, but probably I would purchase a new micro sd card.

Galaxy AI was trying to do that but the fact is that it doesn't read it on a computer neither so I can not click on any file. Actually when I inserted on my computer it appeared the sd icon but without the bar that indicates how much space you've used and what's left. I tried to click on the icon anyway but it took so long for the computer to proceed (it appeared a green bar of completion on top) that I decided to shut it down but it blocked at the shutdown screen (and it stayed blocked all night long on that screen!). And now I'm even scared to extract the sd if the computer is not shut down completely.
I don't really know what to think, it seems impossible that it got damaged for really no reason, as in the past it happened it gave me error and didn't display some files but it always came to work fine in the end. May have been the "change-download- folder -on-the-browser thing" that could have screwed it up?
Please tell me if there's anything I can do cause I've already used all of my tears up on this by now.

Galaxy AWere you looking at the sd card while it was inserted in your phone using a USB cable, as WELL AS using an sd card adapter to view the sd card directly from your computer (I think you said so)?
If you have the sd card inserted in an adapter & connected to your computer, you can could scan the sd card for errors / fix errors if possible.
But from what you have said so far, it doesn't sound promising unfortunately.
Micro sd cards can & do fail occasionally, although it's not common. Because it is a removable / portable storage device, it can be subject to more stress.
Good luck 🤞

Galaxy AI inserted the sd in the computer slot and it readed it but didn't manage to open it.
The sd is fine and cannot damage itself all of a sudden after a whole year of perfect use, I refuse to believe that.

Galaxy AA damaged sd card does not necessarily mean that you can see any physical damage.
But it is quite possible that the sd card is corrupted & if you are not able to access it from your computer, there's not really much that you can do on your own.
Depending on the extent of the corruption / damage, and the importance of the data to you, your only option may be to pay a professional data recovery service to see whether anything can be recovered.

Galaxy AHi, Since the issue started after downloading a file on the card, it might be the file is corrupt or infected with virus Please try to connect the SD card to a computer and see if the data is showing up. If nothing shows up, please visit service technician to back up data from SD card.

Galaxy AWhen I insert it in my computer it actually shows up and tells me that an sd has been inserted, but somehow it is incredibly slow to load all the files inside.
It is very unlikely that the files I downloaded had a virus (one was a pdf and the other a mp4, formats I usually download), in fact it didn't really block after downloading and no virus detection message appeared.
The only thing I can think of is that I stressed it too much with the downloads and the file deletion I tried right after.
Any solutions?

Galaxy AI think that any available solutions have already been given to you.
The last one I suggested was to see if a professional data recovery service would be able to retrieve your data.
You cannot "stress" a micro sd card, it uses "flash memory" & has no moving parts.
In simple terms, it either works or it doesn't.
Trying to "fix" errors with a Windows computer, can sometimes help, but really your last resort is a data recovery service, and they may not be successful in retrieving usable data either.
