Secure folder background activity

Why does samsung  secure folder require background activity with no option to disable?

I don't have Secure Folder enabled, but it probably needs background access to backup & restore your settings.

This is mobile data use. I don't want any app in the secure folder to use my celluar data service and I cannot prevent it.

Well the only thing I can think of, would be to disable the secure folder, but that's risky!

The important point is the option to disable background activity which is not allowed. Disabling the app only means you return to the same state without the ability to disable background activity
