Does anyone know why sometimes when I change the time of an event, it changes the date to the day before? That's seems so odd. It didn't use to do that.
Love this phone and the google calendar app though.
Thanks!

Only thing that I can think of.. if it's only happening when you change the time, if you're occasionally selecting am instead of pm & you are doing the change in the afternoon / evening, so it's bumping the date into the next day.. if that makes any sense?

Ok I played around with that, am vs pm doesn't seem to affect it. I figured out when it happens though. If an event is added as an all day event, (which I do frequently if I don't have an exact time yet, eg basketball game for kids) then if I start to add a time in the title, it will suggest the day before it, so if I don't look carefully at the number of the date eg 28th vs 29th, then it will be switched over. Weird. Ok, but at least now I know when it happens, so I should be able to avoid it. Usually if you add a time to the title of the event it conveniently gives it the right time, so I do that a lot as well. And unfortunately I figured out that even if it was added as an all day event and then I change it and give it the right time below, if I then add a time to the title (which I do frequently) it will still suggest the day before. Unfortunate, but at least I understand it now. Thanks. 1706636560174.jpg1706636560216.jpg1706636560248.jpg1706636560284.jpg

Hi, it might be due to a glitch or a setting. Here are a few things you can check:

1. Time Zone Settings:
Ensure that the time zone settings for both your device and the Google Calendar app are correctly configured. Sometimes, discrepancies in time zones can lead to date shifts.

2. App Updates:
Make sure that your Google Calendar app is updated to the latest version. Outdated versions may have bugs that could be causing this issue.

3. Syncing Issues:
Check the syncing settings of your Google Calendar app. Sometimes, syncing problems can lead to incorrect date and time changes.

4. Device Settings:
Verify that your device's date and time settings are accurate and set to the correct time zone. Any discrepancies here can affect the events in your calendar.

5. Cache and Data:
Clear the cache and data of the Google Calendar app. This can resolve potential glitches that may be causing the problem.
