Galaxy AThe Canadian GSM Bands are, GSM-1900 is the primary band used in urban areas with 850 as a backup, and GSM-850 being the primary rural band.
Since 2021, Canadian Carriers no longer use the 2G network, and 3G networks are slowly being shutdown.
But it looks like your International device doesn't use the Bands supported by the Canadian Carriers.

Galaxy AHi tos1,
It seems there is a compatibility issue with your international Samsung Galaxy A12 (model SM-A127F/DS) with the network bands used by your Canadian mobility provider.
Canadian carriers primarily use specific LTE (4G) and 5G bands. If your phone doesn't support these bands, it might struggle to connect to mobile data.
Thank you for providing the required information RedDogRabbit.

Galaxy AEspecially if you get one from Amazon or Ebay.. I've seen lots of International variants being sold there.. US version isn't too bad, as you can always manually Flash the Canadian Firmware, and most importantly the CSC, which you can't do with the International Exynos variant.
