Samsung Evo Plus SD Card

Hello Everyone,

I've recently purchased a Samsung Evo Plus 128GB SD Card from Aliexpress. After receiving the item, i suspect it's an counterfeit and Aliexpress support  team request I contact Samsung support with an "official" statement how to verify the legitimacy of this card.

Next time, just DON'T buy anything from Aliexpress.

never buy sd cards for aliexpress, Amazon or people online. to many fakes online. just go to best buy to get your cards.

It's highly likely that products purchased from unofficial online or offline retailers are counterfeit products. Therefore, we recommend that you make a purchase through your local Samsung Electronics Service Center or the Samsung Electronics website or Samsung authorized stores in Canada like Bestbuy, Videotron, Staples, Telus, Costco, London drugs etc...

never buy sd cars online in general. even Amazon has fake ones. I would just go to Walmart or bestbuy.

Aliexpress = counterfeit products
If you buy on Amazon, only buy products sold and delivered by Amazon or you will found many fâke products also...samething with Bestbuy

I also bought Samsung Evo Plus 512 Gb from Bestbuy but it's not good for 4K 60ips so...

Yeah... there's just a ton of counterfeit microSDs out there that it might be better to shell out the premium at physical retailers for the card. I've had luck with Amazon but they have a ton of fakes too. You just need to thoroughly test them before using. Also, I think the Samsung Select brand on Amazon has less fakes so might be good to get there. Or at least Amazon is good for returns/refunds for that sort of thing (more so if fulfilled by Amazon)
