Unknown insect

I'm located in Toronto GTA area and this insect has good vision moves like a spider .  Anyone know what it is?

Looks like it's an ant.

I don't think it is. It has great vision when I move my hand toward it, it will back up taking a hidding spot. It moves fast like a spider but it has six legs. It jaws look bigger than a carpenter ant.

Ants have 6 legs & are quite agile. Looks like an ant to me. Could just be a large carpenter ant?

Adult ants range in size from as small as 1 millimetre (1/16 to 1/32 inch), like little black ants and thief ants, to as large as 13 millimetres (1/2 inch), like carpenter ants.

Carpenter ants are not that agile. I have not been able to capture this insect. Also notice the white coloration.

Maybe it's spying on you lol I don't know, but I think that it's just an ant.

I count 8 legs,makes it a spider

4 on the left side? Right side back 2 are together and ants have 3 body parts

If this is an ant what species? It definitely is not a carpenter ant.
