So I've had my Samsung Galaxy Note9 for just over a week now (bought it Sunday, September 30th) and I have to same I am extremely happy with it. The battery life is hands down the best I've seen in any Smartphone I've owned. The pictures this phone can take a breathtaking... so vibrant.. even at 10x digital zoom the pictures still look amazing. I really like that it will automatically tag things in the picture. For example I took a picture of my Niece she was smiling.. and when I looked at the picture there where two tags one saying "Happy" and the other saying "Food" because it the picture was a bowl of chips. Sometimes the tags can be wrong.. I took a picture of the neighbors play-house and it tagged it as a "Train". Watching videos on the phone is a real treat. The sound quality is great too. The fingerprint scanner is very responsive... never had it not recognize my finger. Coming from a front finger printer scanner on my iPhone 6s I still find myself trying to unlock my phone from the front with my finger. I also tend to delete a lot of notifications because on the iPhone I would swipe to open, so I still do that thinking it will open the app where the notification comes only to quickly realize I just deleted it.

If I had to put one negative point on this phone.. to me it would be the Face ID Unlock.. I can't get it to work correctly.. I can set it up okay.. just can't seem to get it to unlock my phone. Not a huge deal to me.

As time goes on I may right another quick-ish review.

Oh and last but certainly not least... one of the best things about owning a Samsung Note9... is the support of the Samsung Members Community and Samsung's own tech support.

Glad you're happy with your Note 9, I myself am extremely happy with mine. Just tender to tap on a notification to open it instead of swiping. As for the Face unlock I've never had an issue unlocking my phone with it even in very dim lighting but I do mostly unlock my phone using the fingerprint sensor as my finger just ends up on the sensor when I pick up my phone.

My only issue is using the tracking for photos of moving objects is lackluster. Sport mode was way better for trying to capture pets and wildlife. I've tried everything everyone online has suggested and meh. I can live with a small inconvenience like that. Other than that nothing can touch the battery life it is nuts.

I am completely happy with my device, the only issue appeared is the camera software, which is still in development. I can't utilise telephoto lens fully, and can't make smooth videos at 60 fps - they all are stuttering.
