Why not allow the spen to just mimic swipes when flicking the pen up or down, left or right. Or presses with just the button press for wherever you're hovering? For example, you could use that function to more easily navigate your home or app navigation, close and scroll through the apps more easily, and it would making the s-pen something more for the device. Or say when you're using Samsung Dex and you're away from your phone, for people who don't have a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse, it would let using the pen at least some viable option for navigation. You could make the user register their own swipes or clicks that they wanna use, or some default swipes based on the screens ratio.
