Galaxy NoteThe ads which you are referring to are banners and no option to disable them and sorry for the inconvenience.

Galaxy NoteThanks for getting back at me!
Samsung is 100% wrong with this kinda decision to force banner ads on customers on a 1500$ phone(actually any phones) Some of us made the switch from your biggest competitor ... and guess where some of us might just go back with.

Galaxy NoteAnd all the while Samsung denies ads exist. Glad to know they don't consider "banners" ads! They are indeed BANNER ADS. A rose is a rose is a rose. You can call it any name you like, it is still an ad. And it is present in Samsung apps, placed by Samsung on Samsung phones that users have paid big bux for, who do not expect nor deserve this treatment as thanks for handing over their money. Android is Google, Google has enough ad based infrastructure, Samsung takes that and duplicates and brands apps with its name and while Google doesn't sell my data, Samsung makes no such guarantee - so they continue to pile on ad after ad. Personally I will go to a plain vanilla android by Google next, after 10 YEARS of Samsung phones, I am finally convinced that adding more and more crap onto the phones I pay for is never going to stop.

Galaxy NoteSamsung : it cheapens the premium experience of your expensive and high end smart watches when the associated app has advertisements in it. You either sell expensive hardware and don't push obtrusive adds or you sell a service (just the app) with adds or a fee. Charging for an expensive piece of hardware and then also having adds is the height of tackiness

Galaxy NoteThe most recent update of Samsung Health... get this... has removed the food tracking and weight management tools! Prior to that, it took away the ability to measure heart rate and oxygenation separately, it doesn't offer compatibility with my blood pressure monitor, so exactly what is Samsung Health for? Perhaps they should finish stripping it and call it Samsung Pedometer, I think it still counts steps. And here I was thinking awhile ago about a Samsung smart watch, guess I will not be doing that if even those shove freaking ads.
