Hi

After a recent update I found out air actions for the S PEN don't work.

The pen is connected and the button works. I can write notes and use the button for erasing them. Also in the settings, it says my pen is connected and 100% charged. But when I try to use the Air actions, like single press button to take picture, or double press to change camera, they don't work.

I tried the below that I found through search:

1- clearing cache partition

2- reboot in safe mode

3- Reset pen

4- Phone restart

5- Removing cover

Did you check if your air command is set to on ? When you remove the spen, click on the gear icon on the lower left of your screen and check your settings

yes, it is ON. I used it many times for taking pictures before it stopped working

Hi aliatrvash, Please make sure your device software is updated to the latest version. To download an update, you must be connected to the internet.
If the button on the S Pen is pushed below the surface, then the S Pen is damaged and must be replaced.
If you are still experiencing the issue, I suggest you to please backup your data and perform factory reset on your device and check if the issue is resolved.

Phone software is updated. Also all Samsung apps are set to auto update.
Pen button is working for writing and selecting items on the screen. it doesn't work for remote actions.

Are you sure you have selected those actions in the Air Command section ?

Yes. I also tried setting them to other apps, but none of them work

After all the troubleshooting you've done, back up and factory reset seems to be the only option left. Good luck, hope you get this resolved.
