Samsung, why on my $1300 Note8 do you only allow 1 DND profile when my sons Xcover4 allows weekday and weekend profiles? My wife's LG G5 also allows weekday and weekend profiles and I'm pretty sure the Pixel phones do as well so why do your ridiculously expensive flagships only allow 1 DND profile? Please update and allow us to create weekday and weekend profiles.
I can use the turn on as scheduled" but only 1 profile so I can't set a different time for weekdays and weekend. The other phones let you go into turn on as scheduled and you can set times specifically for weekends and for weekdays not just the 1 or the other.
@NightHawk, I do agree that it would be nice to have choices and capabilities when it comes to sound profiles and Do Not Disturb. I can make a suggestion, theirs an app that I use called: Phone Profiles Plus from Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sk.henrichg.phoneprofilesplus
It will allow you to set profiles based on time, location, connected Bluetooth devices, etc...
In the case of Do Not Disturb, I have 2 profiles setup.
1st profile: Weekdays, Activates DND if my phone is charging and if it's after 10:30pm and will turn off DND at 7:00am 2nd profile: Weekends, similar to the first profile but with different hours.
It's a great app, I setup profiles based on location, so when I go to the movies, my phone will automatically switch to vibrate.
I know that it would be great having these features built in to the OS, but at least there's developers out there making these features available.
