Enter MCK *Note 20 Ultra

Community, I need some help from you. I purchased another Note 20 Ultra 5G (512G) from a buyer on ebay. He confirms the phone is unlocked from AT&T because he used the device in another overseas country. Upon receiving the device all happy, I puy my SIM Card from TELUS and instantly get Enter MCK. Anyone can help me out here? The sellers was pretty helpful trying to troubleshoot me to the point spending nearly 4 hours with reps from AT&T.  All we got was the MCK is the same thing as the PUK. AT&T provided 1 unlocked code +2 PUK codes. None of them works.

The device is apparently a US model and you need the MCK (Master Code Key) to unlock the device from AT&T.

If you or the seller cannot get the MCK, then you can always try a 3rd party "unlock service".

You can use Google to try and find a reputable service.

You should probably also manually Flash the Canadian CSC using Patched Odin to get Telus's services - ie: RCS, VoLTE etc.

Also, you can try to cal AT&T and say you are in Canada, they might be able to unlock it for you.

Stayed 4 hours with representatives and they were in no help at all. From the start they wouldn't assist me because I did not have an account with them. I had to get the seller who had an account to join the conversation. Even that was not good enough because the device was no longer associated with the account. Total Hell to say the least.

Thank you for your kind reply. Unfortunately the device is locked by the carrier AT&T. Samsung Authorized Service won't come near the device as they clearly comfirmed they do not hold any unlocked code. It is specific to the carrier.

It really seems, that in spite of the seller being "helpful", that they were dishonest about the device being Carrier Unlocked from AT&T. 

Probably the simplest thing to do, would be to get a refund from the seller... If they are willing? 

As I said, there are a number of 3rd party services that advertise an unlocking service, but I suspect the majority are sketchy, to say the least. 

Of all the US Carriers, AT&T is probably the most unlikely to be of any help. 

I'll send you a link by DM, but I have ZERO KNOWLEDGE of this company & I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea if they are legitimate, or can do what they advertise.

I do not have the device any longer. Got a refund for it. I have upgraded to a S23 Ultra. I had entered MCK .. which will prompt to enter an unlock code from the carrier. All good now, very please with the s23 Ultra. Thank you for your reply
