Galaxy buds no popup and how do I check case %?

Recently received my Galaxy Buds and they're amazing! But after watching countless unboxing and such, I realized that the pop up did not automatically connect and so I had to do it manually in the wearables app. Also how do I check the battery percentage of the case

yup everything is fully updated

I have found that when you connect to the device... speaker or in your case buds that it shows the battery level in the bluetooth settings...

is it the new buds? because I have the new ones and I always got a pop-up to connect/connecting.

i have the new buds and i have never seen the pop up on my phone (j4+) 

And i have nearby devices turned on help plz
