As the title says, I am experiencing a glitch involving the draw over Apps feature that Facebook Messenger uses for its chat heads, but it also appears when I bring my notification drawer down where for a few seconds after I've closed the chat head but left it on the screen, my phone won't register touch input, it doesn't happen if I close the chat head by dragging to the bottom and getting rid of it, but it also happens with the notifications when I close them. I never had this issue before Android 12 on my Note 10 Plus, I had noticed it in the beta as well and was hoping it would be fixed when it officially launched, but unfortunately it wasn't.

Any tips on how to fix this issue, or if anyone else has experienced a similar issue please let me know.

Go to Settings > Apps 3 Dot menu top right & Select "Special Access" & Scroll down to "Appear On Top".

Some apps where you have an "overlay" ie: Appear On Top, can interfere with you being able to interact "touch" the input on the screen.

If you're having an issue with interaction with an app, see if Toggling Off "Appear On Top" corrects the issue for you.

I followed the steps mentioned above, the issue still happens when pulling down my notifications, it doesn't happen on my Tab S7 FE though with all the same settings and apps

Hi, kindly let us know is this issue happening with one app or all apps?

It's most noticeable with Facebook Messenger chat heads, but I have noticed it with any app or system feature that covers my homescreen or app I'm using such as the notification drawer

Hi, if the issue is happening only with Facebook messenger app, please uninstall and reinstall the app.

Also, we suggest you to perform clear cache partition and verify if it is fixed. Below are the steps to perform clear cache partition.

1.Turn off the unit.
2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
5.Press the Power button to reboot the unit.
